At this age, the adult and child are co-workers in experiencing daily life. The adult in the environment is sensitive to the “teachable moments” and expands the experience to its fullest potential for learning. It is a family environment, designed to replicate the feeling of home care, while building the bridge to early schooling experiences.
Communication and trust between families, the child, and the teacher are cultivated with profound respect.
